How do I allow Outlook access? I am seeing a warning message.
This error message is usually due to a Microsoft Outlook security feature. Outlook is sensing another application trying to access its data. Before allowing it, Outlook verifies that an anti-virus application is installed and that it is up to date. If not, the user is asked for permission to allow it.
You may need to allow LinkPoint Connect to access Microsoft Outlook depending on your system settings. This message often appears when users do not have antivirus activated or updated.
You can determine your Outlook’s Anti-virus status by clicking File > Options in Microsoft Outlook. Select the Trust Center, Trust Center Settings, and then Programmatic Access.
